Crochet Tip: Lining a Crochet Dress

Once upon a time The Animator's Wife was hesitant to make lacy crochet dresses because she didn't want to deal with the problem of a fabric lining. Her sewing skills are good enough for Halloween costumes, but not so much for everyday garments.

While this dress would make a lovely swimsuit cover, The Animator's Wife had more formal occasions in mind for it, and the solution to the lining problem was actually quite simple.

All she needed was a slip in a similar length and coordinating color. No sewing skills required. See how easy that was?
